• 2 General Music Positions Available (K-6)
• Gilbert Unified School District: 1 full-time position at Canyon Rim Elementary School; 1 full-time position traveling to several schools

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Music Education, emphasis in elementary music education required.  Orff-Schulwerk training preferred.
• Teacher is asked to integrate creative movement, dance, song, vocal technique, listening, pitched and non-pitched percussion, ensemble, music literacy, recorder skills, solfege, and multicultural approaches into instruction. 
• Performances twice or more per year, and are organized by the teacher.
• Applicant needs exceptional organization, communication, classroom management skills.  Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Inspire student and community enthusiasm and build programs at site level.
