The Arizona Orff Chapter,
an affiliate of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association,
is a professional organization of music and movement educators dedicated to the creative teaching approach developed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman.  We are united in our belief that learning about music -- to sing and play, to hear and understand, to move and create -- should be an active and joyful experience available to all children.

Arizona Orff, the 39^th chartered chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, was established to promote the use of Orff Schulwerk in Arizona and to support the professional development of our teachers.  Through Orff Schulwerk, our children use their voices to speak and sing, and their bodies to move and dance as they joyously progress from musical imitation to improvisation and literacy.
